How to best prepare for your electrolysis session
Hydration/moisture is your best friend when preparing for your electrolysis session.
Hydrated skin allows for easier probe insertion and reduced electrical current. This will make your treatment more comfortable!
This doesn't mean....
"I just drank a litre of water before I arrived"
You can't cheat hydration. It's got to be in the skin before you arrive:)
Hydration is a process for the body - it takes time for the body to dehydrate and takes time for the body to re-hydrate. The best approach is regular fluid consumption and the application of moisturizer.
You are also welcome to take an Advil before your session! Anti-inflammatories can be helpful for recovery post-treatment.
